They are hand-made by being fired under extreme temperatures in wood-burning kilns for up to 3 weeks, just like the traditional way which has been used for thousands of years! This method sets the hardness and creates its amazing frost-proof properties.

Iron Stone Pots are made from Vietnamese black clay. The significance is that Vietnamese black clay is a dark brown clay retrieved from the bottom of riverbeds in Vietnam. It is a dark, heavy clay with many natural colour variations to blend with all house colours.
Each Iron Stone Pot is handmade by being fired under extreme temperatures in wood-burning kilns for up to 3 weeks. It is the same technique used to create pots for thousands of years. The benefit of this technique is that it creates pots with extra hardness, durability, and frost resistance.
