Resin Bonded Pots

To compare a resin bond pot to an average plastic pot that you might see in a garden centre is like comparing glass to a diamond.

Single-colour plastic pots like you see in garden centres are only made from a cheap brittle plastic and cannot hold a lot of weight if made into a large pot and over time fade and crack and become very brittle easily and are not durable and strong.

Resin-bonded pots are very superior and are produced by mixing different colours of special resins in a controlled rotation moulding heating process creating each pot with its own unique natural variations of colour and texture within the pot that will not fade in direct sunlight and giving you a lifetime of colour throughout the pot.

Our resin-bonded pots are designed and manufactured in Italy and the specialist blending process of our pots cannot be copied by any other manufacturer.  For example, the process of our Terracotta and Greystone colours is so unique that no other manufacturer of resin pots can replicate them.

So how strong is the resin bond?

Well, it’s so strong that you can make a pot up to 2 meters wide and have over a “ton” in weight of soil in it including your big tree and still be able to lift with a forklift off the ground without breaking the pot. “Now that’s a tough and strong pot!”
