Cloud Trees
Cloud trees are uniquely shaped trees due to special topiary and pruning techniques used to create the shapes. Cloud tree topiary techniques originated in Japanese culture and require the trees to undergo regular pruning, styling, and shaping over several years to produce numerous cloud-like shapes on various stems.Β
Looking at a cloud tree from afar, you can see what resembles a set of green clouds surrounding the trunk. The branches are extra thin, making it easier to draw attention to the clouds of leaves on the trees.Β
Sutton Manor Nursery is one of the most prominent and respected suppliers of cloud trees in the United Kingdom. We offer many popular cloud tree types perfect for outdoor gardens or landscaping. They include the following:
- Small Ilex Clouds
- Medium & Large Ilex Clouds
- Taxus X Media Hilli PomPons
- Juniperus Media βMint Julipβ
- Red Robin Floating Cloud Trees
Β
Cloud trees grow leaves slowly, making them ideal for topiary. You donβt need much knowledge of plants or plant care to maintain cloud trees. Besides regularly watering the cloud trees, you only need to clip them once or twice annually to keep their unique cloud leaf shapes looking strong.Β
Sutton Manor Nursery offers free delivery of all our cloud trees to any address in the United Kingdom. Each cloud tree shipped includes a pot of adequate size to hold it securely. But you can expect the tree to grow bigger as you nurture it with water and sunlight.
